Dr Johnston is a GP Registrar and will be with the Surgery until August 2025.

Dr Macartney is our GP Registrar and will be with us until February 2026

Dr Singhal is our GP Registrar and will be with us until February 2026

Nurse Practitioner

Damien is an experienced nurse who has undertaken additional study to enable him to see patients with undiagnosed problems.

He can:
    - assess you and make a diagnosis
    - initiate and review treatment
    - order tests and investigations
    - give advice on health issues and screening
    - refer you on to a doctor or a specialist as appropriate

Damien has worked for the Practice for the last 11 years and is available everyday Monday to Friday; seeing patients in the morning surgery and booked appointments in the afternoon.

Practice Nurse

Fiona is the Practice Nurse and can assist you with the management of chronic diseases.

Fiona manages cervical screening, baby clinic and wound management.

Sarah Joy is a Federation employed Practice Nurse attached to the Surgery and will be with us until August 2025.

Aine is a Mental Health Practitioner. She is able to assist with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, panic attacks.

You can refer yourself to Aine without the need to see a GP first.

Kieran is our onsite Social Worker. You can request an appointment with him without the need to speak to a Doctor first. 

Nicola is a Mental Health Practitioner. She is able to assist with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, panic attacks.

You can refer yourself to Nicola without the need to see a GP first.

Healthcare Assistant

Lisa is our Healthcare Assistant and she works every morning in Open Surgery.

She is trained to:

• Take blood samples
• Process stool/urine samples
• Measure blood pressure
• ECG monitoring
• Manage dressings
• Give injections
